WORSHIP SCHEDULE
We worship the Lord each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated on each first and third Sunday of the month, and on all church festival days. A Children's Church and a Nursery are available for families with young children.
All baptized, communing Christians who recognize the living Christ truly present in the bread and cup are welcome at God's table. The Sacrament is offered with wine in both individual glasses and a common chalice; non-alcoholic grape juice is also available upon request.
We gather also for midweek Evening Prayer during the seasons of Advent and Lent and on Thanksgiving Eve, and for special worship services during Holy Week, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
BAPTISM
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism unites new believers with their Lord and with one another in the family of faith. Adult and youth baptismal candidates receive the Sacrament following instruction by the pastor. Infants and young children may be baptized if their families are active members of the congregation.
WORSHIP-RELATED GROUPS
The Acolytes and The Altar Guild also support our worship ministry. The Prayer Group meets every Wednesday evening in the Sanctuary at 6:30 pm to hold up in prayer all of our members and friends who are in need, who are sick or recovering, who are serving in the military, or who are facing problems or challenges in their lives. The Prayer Shawl Group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Church Library to knit small warm comforters for people who are sick or in surgery, and to pray for them by name as they do. All are welcome.
