Rainforest Adventure Vacation Bible School
July 21 – 25, from 6:30 – 8:45 PM
VBS is a wonderful tradition at SOC, in which the whole congregation gladly participates. This year, our fun theme will be “Rainforest Adventure” and the church will be abuzz with animal life: Butterflies, frogs, parrots, and monkeys will be on the loose… Lots of monkeys! And an occasional bat and iguana, too. Our Bible themes will include: We Share, We Give, We Grow, We Love, and We Praise. There will be games, songs, activities, skits, crafts, science, drama / storytelling, and "rainforest" snacks every evening. On Friday at 6:00 PM, we’ll have a Family Night with a dinner, and as special guests we welcome Pr. Marcus and Christine Felde, who served as real-life missionaries in the rainforest of tropical New Guinea for over 10 years. Wait until you see what they have to show us!
Our VBS is open to SOC members, guests, and neighborhood families, for children from age 3 through 6th grade, with nursery available for children under 3. The cost is only $10 per child, with a maximum of no more than $25 per family. Scholarships are available. Invite your friends, neighbors, and extended family to bring their kids…It's going to be a "Tree-Top" blast!
