Sunday School
Rally Day, on the first Sunday after the Labor Day weekend, marks the start of the Sunday Christian Education Hour for all ages, 3's through adult, which continues through the regular school year. Classes meet following worship and coffee hour, beginning at about 10:30 am.
Our Sunday School curriculum is designed to introduce children in age-appropriate ways to the great truths and the memorable heroes of the Bible and the Christian faith, building year by year toward spiritual growth. Music & the arts are important parts of our Christian learning program.
Children's Church & Nursery
Every Sunday worship service at Servants of Christ includes a Children's Sermon by the pastor. Then our children from pre-K through 4th grade depart for Children's Church wher they can learn Christian Music or explore creative arts. They return to the Sanctuary at the end of the service to receive a blessing at the Communion rail with their families. During worship a Nursery is also available close by for the tiny tots.
First Communion Class
The pastor offers a 5-session class for young people of 5th grade age and above to prepare them to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Parents participate in this learning group.
Confirmation
Lutherans cherish our 500-year tradition of providing solid biblical education and discipleship training for young people. Our 7th and 8th grade youth meet with the pastor on Thursdays after school to study scripture and the great themes of our faith from Dr. Martin Luther's SMALL CATECHISM. The Rite of Confirmation each spring offers young people the chance to publicly affirm and celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers) is a Christ-centered, caring network that helps moms become the best mothers they can be through supportive relationships and other timely resources. Our regular meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. The first meeting of the month is at church and features a speaker or a discussion. Our children are lovingly cared for down the hall with fun activities of their own. The second meeting of the month is an informal play group and the locations vary monthly. New moms are welcome at any time! Our fall program brochure and registration information are available for download.
